In Italy there is a great Egyptian Museum in Turin and several important university have got a faculty of egpyptology.

What about your country?

im from cameroon, and there also, egypt historywell known , it is thought in school, from primary to high school, and even in universities, and colleges. there isn`t yet a museum specially dedicated to egypt history like in your country luca , but there are many libraries, bookcho, meetings, and end of studies defenses on egypt knowledge

here egypt know very well. just like anywhere else around the world, i guess...however, lithuanians imagine egypt as a country of milk and honey you know:) it captivates imagination of many youngsters. i was one of them. the only problem is, we don`t really have any ACADEMIC institution where professional egyptologists could be prepared. that`s why i had to go abroad. went to the uk.

NZ but grew up in OZ...we learn about Egypt in school where we study Ancient History.
I guess the fascination for the kiwis and the Aussies is that both these countries are young just over 200yrs old (colonised)...

I see Egyptica, Egyptology should deserve to be more present around the world, but it requires anyway academic strictures and finances [to avoid to be simply a library and to carry on also activities on the field, in Egypt].
